Second edition. pp. xi, 422. 8vo. Rebound in 3/4 black calf over crimson cloth. Gilt lettering to spine. Light scuffing to extremities, endpapers fresh and bright, first page of original text a bit grubby with a few professional repairs, text otheriwse clean and unmarked, binding sound; a lovely copy. Lacks folding chart. “Married” to a functional but slightly too-tall, scuffed slipcase. Hardcover.
This edition was produced with the “generous aid” of the Canadian government “to be of use to our Missionaries, especially those in Manitoba and Kiwatin, who are asking earnestly for those books, the first edition of which is completely out of print”.
