Five raised bands to spine, hand-sewn headbands, marbled endpapers, 120 beautiful engravings, folded maps. Scuffing to edges, surface cracking over spines, joints weak and starting (front board of Vol III hanging by cords), expected age toning and light foxing to text blocks, ink inscription to volume I endpaper, otherwise contents unmarked, bindings sound and firm, overall a well preserved set.
